The Classic Fusion Balloon Dog timepiece meticulously translates Jeff Koons' iconic aesthetic into its design. Hublot re-engineered the traditional Classic Fusion case, reshaping its sleek profile into a composition of inflated, rounded volumes, convex lines, and soft domed surfaces, all inspired by Koons' mirrored balloon sculptures. This sculptural transformation is further emphasized by domed sapphire crystals that mimic internal air pressure.
Every detail reflects Koons' signature style, from the rubber-wrapped aluminum crowns, designed to resemble a balloon's inflation valve, to a distinctive rubber "dog tail" positioned at 10:30 on the case. The hands feature a bas-relief balloon dog counterweight, adding to the whimsical movement. The watch is available in three editions: mirror-polished stainless steel, red anodized aluminum, or blue anodized aluminum, each paired with metal-finish leather straps. Internally, a manufacture automatic caliber powers the watch, integrating a custom-designed tungsten oscillating weight with rounded, voluminous forms that echo the case's visual language.
